We had been choosing a Color of the Month at Bridal Tune for quite a while, but sometimes brides already know what colors they want. Which is why we went the opposition direction for November. This is all about what colors don’t work for autumn.

Black
Black is a fantastic color, and it works well with almost every color imaginable, but it is horrible for an autumn wedding, especially November. Black is inherently cold, and with so much warmth around you during a fall wedding, why would you want your wedding to feel cold? In fact, it’s just a tough color for weddings period when it’s made your focal point.
No thanks, we’ll pass. Turn to black from January to February.
Moss Green
We love moss green. We just don’t love moss green for your wedding this time of year. This color is also a bit on the cool side, which automatically puts it at a disadvantage this time of year. It’s also too perfect for an earthy Spring/Summer wedding, especially for brides who don’t want to be washed in a sea of bright colors.
Moss green made the list simply because it’s better served elsewhere on the calendar. The ideal months for moss green are April through July or early August, depending on your wedding location.
Coral
No… Please, no. Do not use coral any time after August or before June. That’s your window for using coral as one of your primary colors during your wedding.
While the other entries on this list were added because they’re too cool for autumn, coral does not suffer from that problem. It’s just too pastel-like and lacks pigment saturation for a November wedding. It is great, however, beginning in June until August.
