If you’re guessing that the Lincoln has technology issues, you would be correct. With a similar infotainment algorithm as MyFord Touch, Lincoln faces the same issues. The difference? Lincoln is a little newer to implementing the technology so will likely be slower with repairs.
You’d be a little bit blind to not detect a pattern here: electronics are the issues. Over several decades they seem to have the “functional car” part down, but as we try to add and improve, they keep screwing it up. For the time being, if you’re in the market for a new car, your best bet is to go with a brand that doesn’t offer a complex electronic system; otherwise, you’ll be up to your ears in repairs.
