CT Fletcher Hulk is the talk of the town these days. For gym fanatics, he is a star, a celebrity. So guys, what is the story behind this hulk? You must be aware of the new fad as even an alien who has recently landed on this planet would know about him (obviously, if he is a gym guy). If you still don’t have any idea who we are talking about; does the guy who shouts to command his arms to grow rings a bell?
CT Fletcher Hulk, a 57-year-old African American, has become a replacement for the word, powerlifter. There has been a lot of debate on whether he uses steroids or any other method which gives him a hulk’s built. However, facts endorse his claims that he has not been on any kind of steroids to build his astonishing ‘hulkian’ body. Here are the things, he is famous for:
- He is the 3x world’s bench-press champion: he achieved that by lifting 650lbs.
- He is the 3x strict curl champion. It is worth mentioning here that this record is unbroken hitherto.
- He has made the world’s strongest drug free bench-press record
This is not all; the man is invincible. He has made a comeback for 3 times after lying dead on the operation table.
All these qualities leave these facts unbelievable that the man is natural. This is because people are not capable of doing that, unless they are super-humans. But CT Fletcher Hulk claims that he is all natural and that his 22 inch arms have been developed without steroids. As mentioned earlier, this is hard to believe and many people don’t do that. There are gym celebs like Leroy Colbert, the body building legend, who also do not believe that CT Fletcher Hulk is natural. Leroy himself was the first man who grew 21 inches arms and he did not take steroids. However, this is the stance of Fletcher’s rival, so it should be looked at with perspective.
So, Has He Taken Steroids?
Obviously, people would demand proof for his claims so he arranged a drug test, which was conducted by a doctor. He had passed that test and showed this on YouTube. However, steroid-users know many ways to wriggle out of these tests. This claim also is rejected by the fact that Fletcher has also competed in the INBA bodybuilding federation, the organization renowned from for their stringent policies for staying natural.
Their athletes undergo the urine, blood, and the lie detector test and not just only once; they do that randomly in the entire year. These random tests are deemed important in the determination of legitimate natural bodybuilders, as otherwise the athletes would be able to wriggle out of the tests held on fixed dates. Also, if you don’t pass any if these tests, your name will be placed on the INBA wall of shame page on their website.
Had Fletcher not been able to accomplish this without steroids, he would not have gone through this entire process in this library.
Gossips Have Not Ended Yet
Despite answering the above allegations, there are many people who say that Fletcher might be using the steroids while he was young. But having a look at his younger self in his powerlifting days, we get to know that he was quite big and if he were on steroids, his muscles would have shrunken down by now – which is not the case in real. The only difference that you can make out from those pictures is that he has lost a lot of fat.
Still Not Ended
As per our knowledge, steroid-users face heart problems in their life. There are some athletes who experience high blood pressure while others get heart attacks. The hulk has had a congestive heart failure, but the reason can be his genetics as his mother had the same issue.
Does He Take Synthol?
There are people who blame him for consuming synthol to make his arms look bigger. However, these people are again mistaken because synthol users are easily spotted, because it makes the muscles look saggy. Also, the muscles are likely to show a strange, irregular shape but you can see CT flexing his muscles – which are all in good shape. Also, his arms are his strongest muscles, but they are shaped and sized according to the other muscle groups. Had he taken synthol, he would have to inject it to other muscle groups to balance them in proportion to the rest of his body.
