The Car Care Council offers these tips to keep your automobile in tip-top shape:
- Polish your vehicle once every six months and wash it once a week. This prevents chemical build-up that can harm the finish.
- While cleaning, check for dents, dings, scratches and cracked glass. It’s important to address such blemishes, as they can become more costly repairs down the line.
- Be sure to use only professional products sold for cleaning cars. These formulas work to clean, while also ensuring the paint finish remains intact.
