Mint is our June color of the month, and we stumbled across this gorgeous mint-colored burlap table runner on Etsy, which we just love. We think it’s the perfect way to add that pop of mint color to your wedding without actually having it everywhere.
What really sets this mint table runner apart is the fact that it’s made out of rustic burlap, which is going to add a homespun, DIY feel to your wedding. It lends itself well to outdoor weddings, but in a color like mint, which is bright and airy, it can be a great way to add some dimension to your indoor celebration space as well.

You can see in the above picture how the table runner is being incorporated (seamlessly) into a beach-themed wedding, but we also feel like it would work exceptionally well with a more rustic, organic theme as well. Or, if you’re wanting something a little more industrial, the mint will play off of old brick and reclaimed wood.
Old brick and reclaimed wood tend to be very warm, which is pretty perfect for a wedding. They can also feel uninviting to some guests, but mint, being both a cool and warm color, can help soften the edges around venues, working to brighten your space and bring a new sense of energy to the room.
In a venue like an old repurposed factory — or any place with a lot of old brick — a mint table runner in a material like burlap is going to work to soften some of the roughness of the venue for you. Not only is the color going to help brighten the space, but the burlap’s texture is going to act to palliate the feel without contrasting too much with the room’s natural finishes. Instead of working against your venue’s character, the mint table runner is going to embrace it and act as the conduit through which the polish of your decor and the flaws of the room work in harmony, rather than clashing.
If you’re looking for flowers to pair with mint, we love anything in the thistle family of colors. The warmer purple tones really play off of the mint well, without clashing at all. We also suggest looking at warmer off whites, as these bring out some of the earthiness that can be found in mint.
